NEWLY APPOINTED COMMISSIONER OF POLICE, ANAMBRA STATE PAYS WORKING VISIT TO AIG ZONE 13

 


As part of his engagements with senior leadership and stakeholders in the Zone, The newly deployed Commissioner of Police, Anambra State Command, CP Nnanna Oji Ama pays a courtesy visit to the Assistant Inspector General of Police in charge of Zone 13 Police Headquarters Ukpo, 

Asp Chidera Oha, Police Public Relations Officer Zone 13 Police Headquarters, Ukpo, Anambra State in a statement said the CP Nnanna Oji Ama, who recently assumed duty as the 36th Commissioner of Police in Anambra State, was received by the AIG Zone 13, AIG Miller Gajere Dantawaye, at the Zonal Headquarters Ukpo, Dunukofia Local Government Area of Anambra State.

The visit provided an opportunity for both senior officers to discuss matters of mutual interest, particularly the need for sustained collaboration, intelligence sharing, effective operational coordination and strengthened security strategies within Anambra State and the South-East.

Speaking during the visit, AIG Miller congratulated CP Nnanna Oji Ama on his appointment and assumption of duty, describing his deployment as an opportunity to further strengthen the security architecture of Anambra State.

The AIG emphasized the importance of professionalism, discipline, intelligence-led policing, community engagement and respect for the rule of law in the collective effort to combat crime and maintain peace and security.

He assured the Commissioner of Police of the continued support and cooperation of the Zonal Command, noting that effective synergy between the Zonal Headquarters and the State Command remains essential to achieving the objectives of the Nigeria Police Force.

In his remarks, CP Nnanna Oji Ama expressed appreciation to the AIG Zone 13 for the warm reception and emphasized the importance of maintaining a strong working relationship between the Anambra State Command and Zone 13.

He reiterated his commitment to providing purposeful leadership, strengthening community policing, improving police-public relations and ensuring a safer and more secure Anambra State.

The courtesy visit ended on a note of renewed commitment by both commands to deepen cooperation, enhance operational efficiency and collectively advance the mandate of the Nigeria Police Force in maintaining law and order and protecting lives and property.
