Engage Actively throughout the Course...CDS Charge Human Security, Gender Adviser Course Participants

 The DHQ, in collaboration with the British Defence Staff (BDS), has officially commenced the Human Security and Gender Adviser Course today at the Nigeria Army Resource Center in Asokoro, Abuja. 

The two-week training programme is expected to feature participants from both military and paramilitary agencies, aims to enhance understanding of human security factors and their cross-cutting themes.

In his opening remarks, the CDS, Gen Olufemi  Oluyede, represented by the  CDSE, Maj Gen IG Lassa, highlighted the critical importance of this course in equipping participants with the necessary skills to effectively address human security challenges. 

He emphasized the course's objective is to build capacity in understanding the intricate relationship between gender issues and security.

The CDS concluded with a strong call to action, urging participants to engage actively throughout the course, to maximize their learning experience and contribute meaningfully to the discussions.
