The Nigerian Army has described an advertisement circulating online as false.The advert claims that the “Nigerian Army DSSC/SSC Application Form 2025” is currently available.
The Director Army Public Relations Lieutenant Colonel Apollonia Anele while recasting to the publication in a press statement said this claim is entirely false and misleading.
She said the Nigerian Army has not commenced any recruitment or commissioning exercise for Direct Short Service Commission (DSSC) or Short Service Commission (SSC) for the year. Members of the general public are therefore advised to disregard the fake advertisement, as it did not originate from the Nigerian Army.
"Whenever such recruitment exercises are scheduled to begin, the public will be duly informed through official channels with adequate publicity. The Nigerian Army warns all to be cautious and avoid falling prey to fraudsters who exploit such fake information to deceive and defraud unsuspecting individuals."
"Anyone with information about such fraudulent activities or individuals should promptly report to the appropriate authorities for necessary action, " She said.
