The Federal government has subsidizes transportation for passengers who will be boarding buses to their destination from Abuja and Lagos to other parts of the country.
To commence the 2024 yuletide road transportation where passengers will board buses to their destinations for only 50% of fares, as declared by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, GCFR, the minister of Transportation, Senator Said Ahmed Alkali, represented by the Permanent Secretary, Federal Ministry of Transportation, Adeleye Adeoye, has today signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between the Federal Government and the leadership of National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW); Road Transport Employers Association of Nigeria (RTEAN); Association of Luxurious Bus of Nigeria (ALBON); and God is Good Motors (GIGM)
This move is part of Government's efforts to offer transportation palliatives from Abuja, Federal Capital Territory (FCT) and Lagos (Oshodi) to other parts of Nigeria.
