The independent National Electoral Commission INEC has announced that the supervisory Presiding officer,Ms Ebehireme Blessing Ekwe who was abducted on the eve of the Bayelsa State Governorship election was freed yesterday.
The commission made the disclosure in their Instagram handle Sunday morning.
INEC however releases a picture of Ebehireme (middle) flanked by the national commissioner supervising Bayelsa State, Mrs May Agbamuche-Mbu by the left and the state ellResident electoral commissioner, Mr Obo Effang.
It could be recalled that teetvnews.com.ng reported INEC confirmed the abduction of the SPao while waiting for boat to convey her to Sagbama LGA in Bayelsa.A boat ferrying 12 officials of the commission also capsized on Friday.
